TROY, Ala. – Troy travels to Hammond, La., for three games against Southeastern Louisiana, the Trojans' first road series of the season. First pitch from Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field is set for 6 p.m. Friday night.

The Trojans look to get back into the win column after suffering a midweek loss to No. 23 Alabama Wednesday.
Troy's weekend rotation has been exceptional so far this season, led by Friday night starter Orlando Ortiz. The junior is 2-0 with 17 strikeouts compared to no walks in 12.0 innings of work.
Saturday starter Garrett Gainous has allowed just one earned run in 11.2 innings in his two starts this year. The freshman is coming of a career-best 10-strikeout performance last Saturday against Jacksonville. Sunday starter Bay Witcher boasts a 1.38 ERA to go along with his 2-0 record.
The bats will have to get going for the Trojans to beat a high-scoring Southeastern Louisiana team this weekend. Nic Nolan enters the series batting at a .448 clip while shortstop Drew Frederic has homered in two consecutive games.
Logan Cerny is hitting .417 on the season with 12 RBIs while leadoff batter Rigsby Mosley is 7-for-11 when leading off an inning.

- Jacob Burke (.429), Gaby Cruz (.389), Evan Keller (.367), Christian Garcia (.357) and Champ Artigues (.333) are the Lions' leading hitters through the first two weeks of the season.
