Women's Tennis Honors Seniors vs South Alabama Wednesday

TROY, Ala. – The Troy women's tennis team will close out the home portion of its schedule on Wednesday when they host South Alabama at the Lunsford Tennis Complex with the match starting at 2 p.m. The Trojans will also be honoring their lone senior prior to the start of the match.
Troy enters Wednesday with an overall record of 6-7 and a 2-3 record in the Sun Belt Conference while South Alabama is 10-4 overall and 5-0 in the SBC. The Trojans and Jaguars met back on Feb. 24 in Mobile, a match that South won 5-2.
On Wednesday Troy will be honoring its lone senior, Matea Mihaljevic, prior to the start of the match. Mihaljevic, a native of Osijek, Croatia, has had an impressive career during her time at Troy. She has amassed 50 singles wins, 20 of which have come from the No. 1 position, and 39 doubles wins in her career.
Following their match on Wednesday, Troy will travel to Boone, N.C. for a Saturday match against App State followed by a trip on Conway, S.C. on Sunday to take on Coastal Carolina.
