Men's Golf Set for National Intercollegiate

TROY, Ala. – The Troy men's golf team hits the course for the fifth time this spring when it competes in the National Intercollegiate at the National Course at Reynolds Lake Oconee in Greensboro, Ga., on Monday and Tuesday.
Will McFadden has led the Trojans through the spring so far with a 73.92 stroke average following the winter break compared a 75.00 mark from the fall. McFadden has five rounds under par this season with four coming in the spring.
Brent Hamm continues to lead the Trojans for the year with a 1.80 score vs. par and 94.1 percent of his rounds counting towards the team card. His five rounds under par are tied with McFadden for the team lead while his 72.29 average in final rounds leads the Trojans.
Nicklas Borrmann, George Burch and Ryan Morrison will make of the remainder of the field for the Trojans while Reagan Harrell play as an individual. Borrmann has been Troy's number two finisher in each of the last two tournaments, including the Linger Longer Invitational where he shot 4-over. Burch will be making his sixth appearance of the year while Morrison will play for the eighth time.
The National Course will play to the tune of 6,955 yards for the three rounds and is a par 72 layout. Teams will play 36 holes Monday and 18 holes Tuesday.
