Troy Wraps Up Non-Conference Schedule with Trip to Mercer

TROY, Ala. – The Trojans will wrap up their non-conference play with a trip to Mercer on Wednesday, December 22 at 5 pm from Hawkins Arena.
This will be the beginning of a three-game road trip for the Trojans, who will be looking to win their fourth straight game.
The Trojans are off to an 8-4 start this season, which is their best start since the 2003/04 season.

Mercer (7-5): This will be the first meeting between the two programs since the 2004/05 season in which they met twice that year, each taking home a victory. The Trojan's last win against the Bears came on January 21, 2005, when Troy won 97-70. Troy will be the fourth Sun Belt team Mercer has faced this year. The Bears have gone 3-0 against Sun Belt Conference teams.

- In the Trojans win over Arkansas Baptist, three Trojans set a career-high in points scored. Rifen Miguel finished with his first double-double as a Trojan, recording 17 points and 10 rebounds. Kieffer Punter also finished with 17 points, and Christian Turner finished with a career-best 13 points.
- The 8-4 start for the Trojans this season is their best start since the 2003/04 season when they went 24-7 and 18-2 in the A-Sun Conference
- This will be the 18th meeting all-time between the two programs, with Troy holding a 10-7 record over the Bears. This is the first meeting since 2005, when the two schools met twice, splitting the meetings.
- Troy is 6-0 when holding their opponents to less the 70 points in a game. Conversely, when the Trojans allow over 70 points in a game, they are 2-4.
