Trojans Gear Up to Take on In-State Foe Jacksonville State

TROY, Ala. – The Troy Trojans return home to Trojan Arena Tuesday at 6 pm as they look to get back on track against in-state rival Jacksonville State after going toe-to-toe with Butler.
It's '2 for 1 Tuesday' as fans who buy one general admission ticket get one free. Tickets may be purchased by visiting the Troy Ticket Office located at the front of the Tine Davis Field house or by calling (334) 670-3681. It is also National Fast Food Day tomorrow, and the first 100 students will receive a free Jacks Burger.
"We have a tough game ahead of us on Tuesday," head coach Scott Cross said. "They are playing really good basketball, but I know our group will be ready to get back to work. We have a lot of depth on this team, and I have complete confidence in our guys to bounce back. This team has the chance to be special."
This will be the 104th all-time match between the two programs, with the first meeting coming in the 1950-51 season, with Troy holding a slight advantage in the series with a 52-51 record. During the 2019-20 season, these two teams last met, with Troy taking home the victory 60-55 on the road.

- Efe Odigie posted a career-high 13 points against Butler, going 1-1 from behind the three-point line. He currently leads the team in points per game with10.5
- After leading the team in three-pointers made with 37 shooting .327% from behind the arc last year, Desmond Williams has made five three-pointers already and is in the top 10 in 3pt percentage at .455, which ranks sixth in the Sun Belt.
- The Trojan defense forced 21 turnovers in their last game against Butler. Troy has the fourth-best turnover margin in the conference sitting at 13.00 to go along with the fourth-best assist to turnover ratio in the conference at 1.35
- Duke Deen was active once again for the Trojans as he led Troy in the rebound and assist categories with six rebounds and four assists against the Bulldogs to go along with 10 points
