TROY, Ala. – Troy Athletics has officially launched a vintage apparel line through Homefield Apparel, a premium collegiate apparel company specializing in unique designs centered on throwback logos. Troy is now the second Sun Belt Conference school to partner with Homefield Apparel.Â
Â
"As we continue to elevate and expand our licensing, merchandising and branding efforts, we are pleased to partner with Homefield Apparel to provide some of our historic and most treasured marks to our fans," Director of Athletics Brent Jones said. "This marks the first time that we have unlocked the logo vault to provide our fans an opportunity to purchase these officially licensed products. I am extremely thankful for this dynamic and unique partnership with Homefield Apparel, as they are the standard-bearer in this space. We have worked for several months on this partnership and launch, and I am sure our fans will be excited about these logos in the marketspace."Â
Â
Several of the designs harken back to historical moments that Trojan fans of all ages will be able to proudly display with their new officially licensed gear. A t-shirt celebrating the 30-year anniversary of Troy's historic 258-point outburst against DeVry University is included within this collection. The interlocking TS logo is featured on a shirt that highlights the 1968 NAIA National Championship football team. The helmet decal worn by the 1984 and 1987 NCAA Division II National Championship football teams is depicted on a sweatshirt that incorporates the words "Cheers to Old Troy State" can also be found in this collection.Â
Â
Athletics items are not the only pieces included within this collection. Fans and former members of the famed Sound of the South will be excited to see a rendition of Mighty Mite with the interlocking TS logo included on his drum.Â
Â
These items are exclusively available through Homefield Apparel. Fans may place their orders for these items directly with Homefield by visiting TroyTrojans.com/Homefield.
