Women’s Tennis Wraps Up Day One of Mercer Gridiron Classic

TROY, Ala. – Highlighted by a solid doubles outing, the Troy women's tennis squad kick-started their season, winning two of three doubles matchups Friday at the Mercer Gridiron Classic.
The Classic features seven singles flights and a trio of doubles flights.
Michelle Ncube and Kristina Kukaras powered the Trojans singles matches, both going 2-0 on the day.
Ncube and Kukaras both found success in their doubles matchups, recording a pair of wins.
The Classic continues Sunday with the third and fourth round of singles and second round of doubles action.
