TROY, Ala. β The Troy Women's Tennis squad looks to carry over Sunday's momentum into the ITA Southern Regional Thursday at the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Tennis Facility in Tuscaloosa.

The Trojans look to bring their momentum from Sunday's six-win final day at the Samford Invitational into the ITA Southern Regional.

After picking up three wins through the opening two days, the Trojans tripled their weekend win total after falling in just one match Sunday.

The Trojans caught momentum quickly with a pair of doubles win by Elliott/Ncube, 6-3, and Andrea Widing and Anastasiia Khoklova, 6-4.

Troy's success continued into its singles matchups, where the squad earned four wins.

Khokhlova defeated Western Kentucky's Rachel Hermanova, 7-6, 6-2, while Kukaras downed Taylor Shaw, 6-0, 6-1, marking the pair's first singles wins of the weekend.

Ncube picked up her third singles win of the weekend over Memphis' Meredith Jones, 6-1, 6-3. Widing rounded out the Trojans with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Western Kentucky's Alexis Cramer.
