Women’s Golf Adds Grad Transfer Courtney Vogel

TROY, Ala. – Troy women's golf head coach Randy Keck announced Friday the addition of Courtney Vogel to the Trojans' program as a graduate transfer from Grand Canyon University.
Vogel posted a 74.84 stroke average with 10 rounds at or below par as a junior during the 2018-19 season. She led the Lopes in four of their 10 tournaments on the year including four top-10 finishes and an individual victory at the Rose City Collegiate with a 5-under 211. Vogel shot in the 60s in four different rounds and was named to the All-WAC Second Team for the second straight season.
As a sophomore, Vogel was named to the All-WAC Second Team as she helped lead Grand Canyon to the WAC Championship and a berth in the NCAA Regionals. The Fountain Hills, Ariz., native finished the year with a 75.28 stroke average and was named to the All-WAC Second Team. Vogel finished the year with seven top-15 finishes and shot a 1-under 71 in the final round of the NCAA Regional.
