TROY, Ala. – Troy women's golf head coach Randy Keck announced Monday the addition of Texas A&M graduate transfer Elizabeth Caldarelli to the Trojan roster for the 2020-21 season.
A former Arizona high school state champion, Caldarelli played in a pair of tournaments for the Aggies in last year's shortened season and played a total of 42 rounds in her three-year career. She posted a 78.67 stroke average as a junior, a 76.63 average over eight rounds as a sophomore and a 79.21 average over 28 rounds as a freshman at Texas A&M.
"Elizabeth brings a lot of experience to our team," Keck said. "She has competed and competed well at the highest level of college golf. She will step in and have an immediate impact for our team."
Coming out of Xavier Prep in Scottsdale, Arizona, Caldarelli was the third-ranked player in Arizona and won the 2016 Arizona individual state championship as a senior.
Caldarelli joins a Troy squad that won three team titles this past season and returns every player who played in at least three tournaments.
