Troy Travels to South Carolina to Take on Clemson

TROY, Ala. - The Troy women's tennis team will hit the road to take on the Clemson Tigers at 5 p.m. from Clemson, South Carolina on Sunday. The Trojans will be playing for the first time since last Sunday, where they fell to Southern Miss 6-1.

A Look at the Trojans
• Last time out, the Trojans faced off against Southern Miss and fell to the Golden Eagles 6-1.
• Troy has one current winning streak in singles as Matea Mihaljevic has a streak of seven straight wins which gives her a record of 7-1 in singles play so far this season.
• Troy is 5-3 so far this season and will look to take down the Tigers before they kick-off conference play next Saturday and Sunday against UT-Arlington and Texas State.

A Look at the Tigers
• Clemson comes in to this match with a 10-5 record, but will take on Florida State and NC State at home, before facing the Trojans on Sunday.
• The Tigers are coming of a 7-0 victory over the USC-Upstate Spartans. They are currently ranked #47 as a team with their perfect record.
• The Tigers will look to the likes of Eleni Louka, Sydney Riley, and Ali DeSpain if they want to win on Sunday.
