TROY, Ala. – The Troy men's tennis team will be back home at the Lunsford Tennis Complex this weekend for three matches over three days. Troy will host Alabama A&M on Thursday at 2 p.m. followed by a match at 2 p.m. on Friday against Chattanooga. The Trojans will close out the weekend on Saturday at 11 a.m. when they host Southern Miss.

Troy enters the weekend with a 7-4 overall record and a two-match winning streak. This will be just the third time this season that Troy has played at home, boasting a perfect 2-0 record at the Lunsford Tennis Complex. Troy has been led this season by freshman Carles Anton who has posted a perfect 11-0 record in singles and a 10-1 record in doubles. On Wednesday, Anton became the first Trojan since March 16, 2016 to be named the Sun Belt Player of the Week after posted a 3-0 singles and 2-1 doubles record this past weekend at the HEB Invitational.

• Alabama A&M enters the weekend with a 3-5 record
• After losing their first five matches of the season without scoring a point, A&M has won three straight
• This match is being made up after being postponed due to weather. It was originally scheduled to be played on Jan. 31
