Women's Basketball Ranked 17th in Mid-Major Poll

TROY, Ala. – Troy women's basketball fell one spot in this week's College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 Poll, announced by the organization Tuesday evening. After jumping six spots the week before, the Trojans find themselves ranked 17th in the latest rankings.
This marks the third straight week Troy has been ranked in the mid-major top 25, and just the second February ranking since 2016. Troy is on a 7-game winning streak with an overall record of 19-3, it's best start in program history, including an 10-1 Sun Belt record, also a program best start as members of the Sun Belt Conference.

Troy is on the road this weekend to take on Coastal Carolina, ranked 19th in the mid-major poll, on Thursday at 5 p.m. (CT) and App State on Saturday at 1 p.m. (CT). A win over Coastal will give Troy a two game lead over Coastal in the Standings while a loss will move Coastal into a tie for first with Troy.
