2020 Sun Belt Volleyball Championship Bracket Announced

TROY, Ala. – The Troy volleyball team will head to the Sun Belt Conference Championship as the No. 2 seed in the East Division after tallying a 10-6 record in 2020. The second-place finish ties for the highest conference finish since Troy joined the Sun Belt in 2005.
Sun Belt volleyball squads will face a new path to a title in a new tournament format that includes all 12 teams competing in pool play leading into a four-team, knockout-round bracket in a five-day format that will take place in Foley, Ala.
The Trojans find themselves in Pool B alongside Georgia Southern and UT Arlington. Troy will square off against the Eagles Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Foley Events Center before concluding pool play against the Mavericks Friday, Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m.
Pool winners will advance to the semifinals Saturday, Nov. 21 at 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. before the tournament concludes with the championship match Sunday, Nov. 22 at 1 p.m.
Troy finished the regular season with 10 Sun Belt wins which ties for the most conference wins in a season in program history (2012, 2019). The Trojans' 20 league victories over the past two seasons marks the most in a two-year span in school history.
