TROY, Ala. – Troy women's basketball will be back at home on Saturday, Jan. 11 when they host Louisiana to close out the second week of Sun Belt play. Due to inclement weather in the forecast for Saturday afternoon, the game time as been moved up to 11 a.m. It eas originally scheduled for 2 p.m.
Troy Trojans (12-2, 3-0 SBC)

The Trojans set a new Division 1 program record for consecutive wins at nine straight after earning a hard-fought victory at ULM Wednesday night. After trailing the Warhawks by one at halftime Troy was able to outscore ULM 37-29 in the second-half to earn the victory, their third of the conference season. In the contest Troy was led offensively by Jasmine Robinson who scored 13-points while Kate Rodgers put together an all-around impressive performance with eight points, eight rebounds, two blocks, two steals and an assist.

Louisiana enters Saturday coming off an impressive win at home against South Alabama. Louisiana got its offense going early as they outscored USA 21-10 in the first-quarter. It was their first home win over South since Feb. 9, 2017. They were led by Skyler Goodwin who scored a season-high 17 points. In the early part of the conference season Louisiana has picked up wins against USA and Georgia State while falling to Georgia Southern. The only common opponent between Louisiana and Troy this season has been Mississippi State. The Rajin' Cajuns hosted No. 15 Mississippi State back on Dec. 16, and played the Bulldogs tough, falling 48-64.

• Amber Rivers continues her senior year on a quest for 1000 career points. The senior has scored 977 points so far and is averaging 9.3 points per game in the 103 career games she has played in. This season Rivers is averaging 8.8 points per game
• Since the grand opening of Trojan Arena back in 2012 Troy has earned a 73-29 record inside the state-of-the-art facility
• Since Chanda Rigby's first season in 2012-13, Troy is 37-4 when making at least 10, 3-pointers in a game
• In their last 48 Sun Belt Conference home games, Troy has earned 40 wins to just nine losses dating back to the 2014-15 season. They have gone 9-1 in home SBC games in each of the last two seasons and are currently on a 6-game winning streak
• In the last two season's Troy has posted a 9-2 record when at least one player scores 20 or more points
• Jasmine Robinson has been the most improved Trojan in terms of scoring from last season to this season
