Troy Volleyball Tabbed Third in Sun Belt East Division

Troy, Ala. – Troy has been picked to finish third in the Sun Belt East Division in a vote by the league's head coaches, the Sun Belt announced Tuesday.
Defending league champion Texas State was a unanimous first place pick in the West Division while Coastal Carolina received seven first place votes and was tabbed to finish atop the East.
The Trojans return several key players to the lineup, including 2018 All-Sun Belt Second Team member Cheyenne Hayes. Her 237 total kills against league opponents was third-most in the conference last season and is the second-most among returning players.
Sophomore Amara Anderson registered 645 assists in 2018 during conference play which is the second-most among returning league players.
Troy opens its regular season at the Jax State Invitational Friday, Aug. 30 against Southeastern Louisiana.
