"It has been another incredible year for our Troy Trojans as we have excelled in the community, on the playing field, in the classroom and in the stands," Director of Athletics Brent Jones said. "Our outstanding coaches and student-athletes continue to make everyone associated with Troy Athletics proud to be a Trojan. None of our past or future success would be possible without the great support from our amazing fans. Our momentum is real and contagious, and it truly is a great time to be a Troy Trojan."
Â
This past athletic season saw many Troy student-athletes, coaches and teams perform at high levels and receive numerous accomplishments. Chase Smartt, Logan Cerny and Carlton Martial earned All-America honors, Matthew Likely competed at the NCAA Track & Field Championship while Sky'Lynn Holmes and Leanna Johnson took home Sun Belt player of the year honors.Â
