Troy then steps away from conference play for a mid-week match against 2018 SWAC Tournament champion Alabama State on Nov. 6.
Â
Senior/Alumni Night will take place at Trojan Arena on Nov. 8 against rival South Alabama before closing out the regular season on the road against Coastal Carolina (Nov. 15) and Appalachian State (Nov. 19).

Quotable – Troy head coach Josh Lauer
"We are looking forward to a breakout year in 2019. Even though we continue to have a young team we are returning a lot of players with experience this season. We continue to schedule quality opponents and will face three teams that competed in the NCAA Tournament last year. We are also excited to once again be hosting two non-conference tournaments here at Trojan Arena. We open the season on the road continuing the in-state rivalry with Jacksonville State and look forward to being back in Trojan Arena with our fans for our home opener on Friday night September 6 against Chattanooga. We can't wait to show all the Trojan fans the passion and excitement our team is committed to bringing to the court this year as we continue to Build the Empire!"
