QUOTING DIRECTOR DAVIS
"We had a shaky start to the weekend, but we rebounded nicely on the second and third day. Obviously, these are the National Championships so best in the country are competing to win. It's hard to advance and we made some very good runs at advancing to the next round."
"Matthew Likely was the highlight of the weekend with his advancement to next round in the 200m. Our men's 4x1 crushed a school record they set at the Sun Belt Championships and the women did the same in the 4x1. The 4x4's on both sides ran extremely well and I am proud at the way the athletes closed the season."
