Troy Men’s, Women’s Tennis to Face South Alabama in Sun Belt Championships

TROY, Alabama – Troy men's and women's tennis both enter the Sun Belt Conference Championships in Peachtree City, Georgia this week as the No. 7 seed and both face South Alabama in the first round.
The women's team finished the regular season 10-10 overall and 4-5 in Sun Belt play. The team is set to take on the Jaguars at 9 a.m. Thursday. The Trojans were led by Pei Ju Hsieh, who posted a 10-5 singles record and paired with Chunxi Guo to win 14 of 18 doubles outings.
The men face South Alabama at 12:30 p.m. Friday after finishing the year with a 17-7 overall mark. Pelayo Antuna chalked up a 15-2 record in the spring, including a 3-1 Sun Belt mark. Oskar Michalek went 15-5 winning 13 of 14 matches on court two.
