JONESBORO, Arkansas – Troy bounced back from a loss on Wednesday to defeat Arkansas State, 4-1, on Friday at the Arkansas State Tennis Complex in Sun Belt Conference play.

Troy's Chunxi Guo defeated Arkansas State's Amelia Guevremont, 6-3, 7-5 to secure the victory for the Trojans. Troy improved to 9-8 (3-3 SBC) while Arkansas State fell to 3-9 (0-5) on the year.

DOUBLES
• Celia Montero Estevan and Maria Casas Blas defeated Pramethong and Guevremont, 6-2.
• In a very decisive doubles match, Chunxi Guo and Pei Ju Hsieh were defeated by Masdevall and Detlava, 6-3.
• Matea Mihaljevic and Tingting Pei defeated King and O'Brien to secure the doubles match point for the Trojans, 7-6.

SINGLES
• Casas Blas defeated O'Brien, 6-2, 6-0.
• Pei put down Detlava, 6-4, 6-4.
• Mihaljevic was defeated by Pramethong in a very decisive match on court three, 6-4, 0-6, 6-3.
• Guo defeated Guevremont to secure the match victory for the Trojans, 6-3, 7-5.
