Gainesville, Fla. – Troy track and field will compete at the Florida Relays held by Florida at the Percy Beard Track from March 28-30.Â
Â
The meet begins on Thursday with the women's 200m dash at 1 p.m. CT while the men's hammer will be the first field event beginning at 4 p.m. CT.Â
Â
Action on Friday starts at 11 a.m. CT (women's discus and hammer) and on the final day competition resumes at 10 a.m. CT (men's discus). Friday and Saturday's action will be broadcast live on WatchESPN while live results will be available throughout the duration of the meet.Â

Last Time Out
Troy turned in 21 personal records and won two events including landing 10 top-3 finishes at the Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays held at Mississippi State on March 22-23.Â

In the 100m dash, senior Gabrielle Henderson won her first race of the season with a time of 11.82. Senior Niata Alexander notched a first-place finish with a personal record 200-meter time of 23.59 seconds.Â

Sophomores Amir Harris and Jared Hayes crossed the finish line in second and third respectively out of 58 runners in the 400m with times of 47.06 and 47.09. In the 800, Junior Gemma Finch ran into second place with a personal best time of 2:09.25. Sophomore Madison Kennedy also set her personal record in the race in 2:14.67.Â

In the 4x100 relay, Alexander, Henderson, sophomore Precious Ogba and senior Sydney Wright finished in second place out of 15 teams with a relay time of 45.30.Â

Hayes, sophomore Corey Bonner, Harris and sophomore Jordan McCleksky landed in third place out of 21 teams in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:13.42.
