Track & Field Competes at Bulldog Relays

Final Results
Starkville, Miss. – Troy men's and women's track and field teams wrapped up competition at the Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays on Saturday evening at the Mike Sanders Track Complex at Mississippi State.
Troy turned in 21 personal records and won two events including landing 10 top-3 finishes.
100m
Senior Gabrielle Henderson won her first race of the season with a time of 11.82.
200m
Senior Niata Alexander notched a first-place finish with a personal record time of 23.59 seconds.
400m
Sophomores Amir Harris and Jared Hayes crossed the finish line in second and third respectively out of 58 runners with times of 47.06 and 47.09.
800m
Junior Gemma Finch ran into second place with a personal best time of 2:09.25. Sophomore Madison Kennedy also set her personal record in the race in 2:14.67.
100 Hurdles
Junior Alexis Garrett completed the race in a personal best time of 13.88, good for third place.
110 Hurdles
Junior Casimir Tawiah turned in a personal best time of 14.07, giving him third place.
4x100
Alexander, Henderson, sophomore Precious Ogba and senior Sydney Wright finished in second place out of 15 teams with a relay time of 45.30.
4x400
Hayes, sophomore Corey Bonner, Harris and sophomore Jordan McCleksky landed in third place out of 21 teams with a time of 3:13.42.
4x800
Finch, senior Krystin Guirey, freshman Tanner Guest and sophomore Christie Caruana completed the relay in 9:18.37, placing them third.
Senior John Webb, sophomore Jordan Smith, senior Brennan Garriques and junior Daniel Glick ran into third place with a time of 7:50.38.
High Jump
Junior Titus Sizemore jumped into third place with a leap of 2.05 meters.
Personal Records
Sophomore Madison Kennedy finished the 800m race in 2:14.67. Caruana turned in a 4:46.38 finish in the 1500-meter race. Sophomores Kara Coulter and Mackenzie Walsh respectively finished the 500m trek in 18:14.11 and 18:25.72.
Senior Sydney Henderson, junior JaMeeka Middlebrooks and sophomore Michaela Thompson all set their personal best in respective times of 14.47, 14.61 and 14.70. In the hammer, sophomore Naquita Williams launched a distance of 54.08.
In the 100-meter dash, junior Matthew Likely finished in 10.60 seconds and finished the 200-meter race in 21.31 seconds. Junior Harrison Dudley also set his personal record in the 200 in 21.98.
McCleksky crossed the finish line in 1:59.61 in the 800m race. Sophomore Thomas Ward completed the 5000m race in 15:44.15. In the 400 hurdles, sophomore Jordan Mereus finished in 53.94. Junior Austin Snyder launched a distance of 15.33 meters in the shot put.
In the discus, sophomore Alec Sheehan recorded a distance of 46.70. Junior Caleb Brown threw the hammer 54.92 meters.
