Men's Tennis Defeats Florida A&M, 4-0

Tallahassee, FL. – Troy started with a strong doubles performance to leave no chances for Florida A&M in a dual match, 4-0. The Trojans improved to 14-1 in non-conference play to show the major improvement under new head coach Rolando Vargas.
The duo of Christopher Tasker and Jorge Poyatos defeated Ilya Skromnyy and Luis Espinoza, 6-3. Pelayo Antuna and Luis Foix played together for the first time and defeated their opponents with a perfect score, 6-0. The classic duo of Manuel Bernard and Oskar Michalek were stronger than Dimitri Bird and Cardel Williams, 6-1.
The Trojans needed only three singles wins to finish the match, and all of those wins came in two sets. Senior Michalek defeated Espinoza, 6-4, 6-3. Tasker defeated Robert Hayden, 6-2, 6-0. Manuel Bernard showed the best result, as he won his match against Rodeny Sturgis in a perfect manner, 6-0, 6-0.
