Indoor Set for Final Regular Season Meet

TROY, Alabama – Troy indoor track and field will compete in the Bulldog Invite hosted by Samford at the Birmingham CrossPlex Friday for its final regular season meet of the 2019 campaign.
The meet is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. with the women's weight throw event and will conclude with the men's 1600m race at 4:30 p.m. Competing against Troy are Sun Belt foes South Alabama and Louisiana among others – notably UAB, Louisiana Tech and South Florida.
The Trojans head into the meet with a ton of momentum from their success at the Camel City Invite in Winston-Salem, N.C., last weekend. Troy's star at the meet was Precious Ogba, who was a part of three different event victories – 200m, 400m and 4x400m relay.
There were also five new school indoor records set at the meet; women's distance medley relay, Gemma Finch in the 800m, Tiarra Bailey in the 600m, Tanner Guest in the mile and Jordan Smith in the men's 800m.
The Bulldog Invite will be the Trojans' final tune-up before the USA Indoor National Championships and Sun Belt Indoor Championships next weekend.
