Troy Travels to Face New Orleans, Nicholls State

TROY, Alabama – The Troy women's tennis team hits the road for a pair of matches in Louisiana. The Trojans face New Orleans on Sunday at 12 p.m. and Nicholls State Monday at 1 p.m.

Troy (2-3) dropped matches to Mercer and Southern Miss last weekend, but are looking to ride the momentum of solid play from several players. Pei Ju Hsieh continues her hot start to non-conference play posting a 4-1 single record, while pairing with Chunxi Guo to go 5-0 in doubles play.

New Orleans (6-0) has won six straight to open its spring schedule including a 4-0 win over Louisiana Tech in its last match two weeks ago. Nicholls State (2-2) had its match Wedenesday against Loyola-New Orleans postponed but have two straight entering the weekend – 4-0 wins over Prairie View A&M and Jackson State.
