Troy Set for Dual Match on Friday

TROY, Alabama - The Troy men's tennis comes back with a home match after the first road trip to North Carolina and South Carolina, where the Trojans claimed the victories against Gardner-Webb, South Carolina State, and Wofford. The road trip was proven to be another successful step towards the preparation for Sun Belt games in March.
The Trojans have a stable line-up with experience and chemistry. Sun Belt Freshman of the Year Pelayo Antuna and Oskar Michalek compete for the top seeds of singles play, while freshman Manuel Bernard and Jiaqi Duan are set for No.3 & No.4 seeds. Redshirt sophomore Christopher Tasker is on a winning run at No.5 seed. Tasker claimed three singles victories in a row over the weekend. No.6 spot remains experimental for Vargas as three different Trojans appeared there in the singles play.
Abraham-Baldwin will face Troy in its second match of the spring season. They took part in four tournaments in the fall, which include ITA Regionals, Oracle Cup and Tournament at West Florida.
