Women’s Golf Wraps Fall at Idle Hour Collegiate Championship

TROY, Ala. – Coming off victories in two of its last three events, the Troy women's golf team travels to Macon, Georgia for the Idle Hour Collegiate Championship Monday and Tuesday.
The Trojans won the Town & Country Intercollegiate this past week after claiming the team title at the David Banister Golf Classic earlier in the month. Sophomore Nicole Lorup has taken home individual medalist honors in each of the last two events and enters the final event of the fall with a 71.55 stroke average over 11 rounds with four under-par rounds.
ShaeLee Scarberry is also coming off an individual win after tying Lorup for the title at the Town and Country; Scarberry lowered her fall average to 74.55 following her win. Elisabeth Preus maintained her number two standing on the leaderboard for the Trojans with a fourth-place finish last week to pull her season average down to 73.18.
Anna Claire Little and Judith Castro tied for sixth at last week's event and find themselves back in head coach Randy Keck's lineup this week. Little boasts a 74.55 average for the year while Castro holds a 75.36 mark. Brooklyn Bostick is slated to make her second appearance of the season when she competes as an individual.
