Troy Indoor Headed to North Carolina for Camel City Invite

TROY, Alabama – Troy indoor track and field is competing away from the Birmingham CrossPlex for the first time this season as it heads to Winston-Salem, N.C., for the Camel City Invitational at the JDL Fast Track. The meet is scheduled to begin Friday at 1 p.m. and Saturday at 9:30 a.m.

The last time out, Gabrielle Henderson led the Trojans in the KMS Invite with a stellar run in the 60m dash. Henderson set a personal best in the 60m semis before running the second-fastest time in school history in the finals.

Caleb Brown led the men in the meet, finishing third in the weight throw event and improved upon his school all-time, second-best mark in the event. Several other student-athletes had career days in the competition including Jess Jacobsen, Samara Nelson and Jordan McCleskey.
