Troy Looks for Continued Success at KMS Invite

TROY, Alabama – Troy indoor track and field is in the midst of an impressive run that has included numerous school record-breaking performances and personal bests over the past few weeks, and it looks to continue that success Sunday in the KMS Invite at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
The KMS Invite, hosted by well-known former track coach Kevin Stephen, is scheduled to begin around 11 a.m. and will wrap up with the men's 4x400m relay at 8:05 that evening. Competing alongside Troy are several in-state schools – Alabama State, Alabama-Huntsville, Mobile, Montevallo – and former Sun Belt foe Middle Tennessee State, to name a few.
Last time out, the Trojans put out a strong performance at the Emory CrossPlex Invitational with six event victories. The meet was highlighted by a school indoor record-setting run by Gemma Finch in the 800m – she crossed the line in 2:12.47.
