ATLANTA, Georgia – The Troy women's basketball team takes its eight-game winning streak into GSU Arena to face Georgia State on Saturday at 1 p.m. (CT).

With the team's 97-81 win on Thursday, the Trojans are off to their best start in program history and entered the week No. 23 in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Poll and receiving votes in the USA Today Coaches Top 25 Poll.

Troy (14-2, 5-0 SBC) fell to the Panthers in Atlanta last season but look to right the ship on the road against GSU bringing in the 10th-highest scoring offense in the nation averaging 82.8 points.

The Panthers (8-8, 2-3) have dropped four of their last six games including the last two at home. Point guard Jada Lewis is fourth in the Sun Belt averaging 15.7 points per game while Shaquanda Miller-McCray is second with 29 blocks.
