CLEMSON, S.C. – Troy dropped matches against Big Orange Bash host Clemson and in-state foe UAB Saturday at the Jervey Athletic Center to end its last road tournament of the 2018 season.

The Trojans (4-5) fell in straight sets to both the Tigers and Blazers, losing a few tight back-and-forth sets in each matchup.

Cheyenne Hayes continued her impressive kill streak with 12 and 11 kills in the two games, respectively. Hayes now has double-digit kills in seven straight matches – 108 total over that span.

Freshman Halston Hillier shined in the UAB match, recording 12 kills and posting a .333 hitting percentage in just her second career start on the court.

Following her PrepVolleyball.com National Freshman of the Week runner-up performance last weekend, Amara Anderson recorded nearly 130 assists in the tournament. Anderson leads the conference with 374 and the Trojans are tops in the league with 12.67 assists per set on the year.
