Community Hero Ticket Campaign Launched for Troy’s Military Appreciation Game

TROY, Ala. – Troy's annual Military Appreciation football game is next up at The Vet when the Trojans hosts Coastal Carolina on Sept. 29 and Troy Athletics is calling on Trojan Nation to help send military families to the game for free.
Troy Athletics is selling Community Hero Tickets for just $8 and every ticket purchased will be donated to active, retired and reserved military personnel and their families. With a goal of 1,000 of these special tickets set for the game, head coach Neal Brown jumped started the campaign by purchasing the first 100 tickets and other Troy Athletics administrative staff members and football coaches have also joined the cause.
"We take pride at Troy in our relationship with the military, and our Military Appreciation Game is always one of the best events of the year" Troy Director of Athletics Jeremy McClain said. "This Community Hero Ticket campaign allows our fans to say 'thank you' to our service men and women and creates a great opportunity for them and their families to experience gameday in Troy."
It will be a day that fans will not want to miss as the pregame ceremonies will feature a military flyover, enlistment ceremony and the return of the giant American flag that covers the length of the field.
