Troy Announces Baseball Alumni Weekend

TROY, Alabama – Troy Athletics and the Trojan baseball team have set this year's Alumni Weekend for April 27-29 as the squad hosts UT Arlington in a three-game Sun Belt series.

All former players, coaches and managers are invited back to be honored with a weekend full of activities for themselves and their families. Prior to game two on Saturday, all that return will be honored on the field and will have access to a special in-game tailgate on the Guardian Triple Play Patio during the game.

Legendary coach Bobby Pierce and national champion player Wendell Stephens will throw out the ceremonial first pitches to recognize their inductions into the Troy University Sports Hall of Fame.

Additionally, members of the 2013 team will be acknowledged for the five-year anniversary of its remarkable season that included a 2013 Sun Belt Conference regular season title and an NCAA Regional final appearance. The club also led the country with 151 doubles and finished with a top 25 ranking.

Returning alumni will be able to request up to four complimentary tickets for immediate family members to all three games of the series and are asked to RSVP to Emma Grace Mayfield via email at emayfield143196@troy.edu or by phone at (334) 670-3386.
