Volleyball Geared for Final Homestand

TROY, Ala. – Troy will take the court in Trojan Arena for the final time in 2018 when they play host to Appalachian State and Coastal Carolina to wrap up the regular season. Both matches are set for 6:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Looking to snap a six-match skid, the Trojans (10-17, 4-10) will make one last push towards the Sun Belt Championships in Atlanta next week. Currently, Troy is clinging to a half-game lead over Georgia State in the East Division's fourth spot – the last spot that makes it into the tournament.

While Georgia State closes the year against rival Georgia Southern, Troy faces the top two teams in the division in Appalachian State (19-7, 11-3) and Coastal Carolina (11-11, 10-4). The Mountaineers and Chanticleers both defeated the Trojans in their previous matchups this season.

Friday night will serve as Senior Night in Trojan Arena as the team will honor its lone senior, Logan Page, prior to the match; Saturday will be the Fan Appreciation Game. Page, a three-year letter winner for the Trojans, currently holds the fourth best career attacking percentage in school history.
