MOBILE, Ala. – Despite 18 kills from sophomore Cheyenne Hayes, Troy volleyball fell, 3-1 (25-20, 26-28, 13-25, 22-25) in four sets to rival South Alabama in Jag Gym Saturday night.

Even after winning the opening set, the Trojans (10-17, 4-10) dropped their sixth straight match after winning four in a row. It marked Hayes' 22^nd match this season with double-digit kills and her third consecutive match reaching the threshold.

Following behind Hayes was Belle Waldrop with nine kills and a .300 hitting percentage on the night. Meanwhile, Logan Page and Jenni Young recorded eight kills and four blocks apiece.

Defensively, three players were in double digits in the digs category – Amara Anderson (12), SaraGrace Wilson (12) and Lacey Jeffcoat (11). Anderson recorded her 15^th double-double of the season with 41 assists.

Troy will return home for its final two games of the regular season next weekend. The Trojans will host Appalachian State on Senior Night at Trojan Arena Friday before closing the slate with Coastal Carolina Saturday.
