TROY, Ala. -- Troy quarterback Sawyer Smith, safety Cedarius Rookard and bandit Hunter Reese met with the media Monday to discuss Troy's Sun Belt East showdown at Appalachian State. The winner of Saturday's contest will host the inaugural Sun Belt Championship Game on Dec. 1.
Rookard intercepted two passes, forced a fumble and recorded seven tackles against Texas State, Reese extended his streak with a tackle for loss to 19 straight games and added an interception while Smith led the Trojans to their fourth win in five games as the starting quarterback.
