TROY, Ala. – Troy volleyball is hitting the road for a weekend in Sun Belt Conference play at Louisiana and ULM Friday and Saturday.
Â
The Trojans (6-11, 0-4) are looking to end a four-game losing streak in conference, including two matches at home this past weekend – Troy dropped a five-setter to Georgia State and in four sets to Georgia Southern.
Â
Cheyenne Hayes, Amara Anderson, Lacey Jeffcoat and Savannah Moore lead the Trojans statistically, as each of the four ranks in the top 7 in the conference in their respective categories – kills, assists, digs and blocks.
Â
Louisiana (9-9, 1-3) won its conference opener over UTA but has since lost three in a row to Texas State, Coastal Carolina and Appalachian State. Nia Antione leads the team with a .340 hitting percentage on the year, while Sydney Davis' 4.71 digs per set rank fifth in the league.
Â
Meanwhile, ULM (7-10, 0-4) has dropped four of its last five matches – a win at Louisiana Tech sandwiched between two pairs of conference losses. The Warhawks are led by Taylor Wood's 1.08 blocks per set in 2018, which is the 10th best total in the league.
