Troy Adjusts Schedule for ESPN 2 Game

Troy, Ala. – The Troy men's basketball team has adjusted its schedule to where the Trojans will face Georgia State on Wednesday, Feb. 13 and Georgia Southern on Friday, Feb. 15. The Georgia Southern game will be televised on ESPN 2 at 8 p.m. (CT).

This marks the first time that Troy will play on ESPN 2 since the 2016-17 Sun Belt Championship game against Texas State on March 12, 2017. The Trojans defeated the Bobcats, 59-53 in New Orleans for their first Sun Belt Conference title in program history. Then-sophomore Jordon Varnado led the way by posting a double-double in 18 points and 12 rebounds alongside two steals while then-junior Wesley Person added 16 points, going 8-for-8 from the charity stripe with four rebounds, an assist and a pair of steals.Â

Troy head coach Phil Cunningham released the full 2018-19 schedule earlier this month, highlighted by games against Florida State, St. Louis and seven non-conference games played in Trojan Arena.
