TROY, Ala. – Former Troy football standout Brynden Trawick has been selected to the 2018 Pro Bowl on January 28 in Orlando. The Tennessee Titan will represent the AFC as a member of the special teams unit.
Â
Trawick, a native of Marietta, Ga., was originally taken as a Pro Bowl alternate before being chosen to fill in for Matthew Slater of the New England Patriots.
Â
The fifth-year pro, who was in his first season with the Titans after being signed as a free agent last offseason, led the squad with 17 special teams tackles. He spent the previous four seasons for the Baltimore Ravens and the Oakland Raiders.
Â
For the Trojans in 2012, Trawick earned first team All-Sun Belt honors after leading the conference in tackles per game. During his junior season, he led Troy and the Sun Belt with 123 tackles on his way to a second team All-Sun Belt selection.
Â
The 2018 Pro Bowl will be played at Camping World Stadium in Orlando at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 28. The NFL's all-star game will be broadcast nationally by ESPN with a simulcast on ABC and with audio coverage on Westwood One, SiriusXM NFL Radio and on the TuneIn app.
