Know Your Opponents: Conference Road Trips

Part two of the four-part series breaking down all 12 of Troy Football's opponents in the 2017 season will cover the four Sun Belt road games. The Trojans will travel to New Mexico State, Georgia State, Coastal Carolina and Arkansas State.
NEW MEXICO STATE – Sept. 16
Troy will kick off its Sun Belt slate with another 1,000-plus mile trip to face off with New Mexico State – Boise State (2,196 miles). The Trojans have experienced success in the matchup in recent years, winning three straight and outscoring the Aggies, 104-13, in the last two games.

A much shorter ride will be necessary for fans to cheer on the Trojans as they battle Georgia State at the new Georgia State Stadium (formerly Turner Field). Troy leads the all-time series 3-1 with the two teams splitting the past two meetings – both games finishing 31-21.
