Troy To Host Doubleheader Saturday

TROY, Alabama – Three seniors will play their final home match in their careers on Saturday with Troy set to compete in a doubleheader on Saturday.
First up will be Columbus State at 11 a.m. followed by an in-state showdown against Alabama A&M at 3 p.m. to wrap things up. The Trojans (10-10) are currently 6-2 on the season.
Saturday's matches will be both a chance to wipe away the previous outing and prepare for the Sun Belt Championships on April 19-23. Previously Troy fell 4-0 on the road against No. 44 South Alabama to split the series on the year.
The two matches will be opposites in the level of competition as Columbus State is 16-1 and on a nine-match winning streak while Alabama A&M has yet to win a match this year en route to an 0-17 record.
NOTEWORTHY
• Pablo Moreno and Amer Bedwan are both tied at 19 wins looking to notch 20 singles wins on the season.
• Andy Lau and Pablo Moreno have been Troy's most successful pairing in doubles play with a 13-4 record.
