Troy at Alabama Baseball Postponed

Troy Walks Off Alabama in Front of Record Crowd
TROY, Alabama – Troy's Wednesday night baseball game at Alabama has been postponed due to the severe weather threats throughout the state today. No make-up date has been agreed upon at this time for the game that was a reschedule of an earlier postponed contest.

Troy defeated Alabama, 12-11, Tuesday night in front of a Riddle-Pace Field record crowd on Matt Sanders' walk-off single to center field in the bottom of the ninth inning. The Trojans rallied with two runs in the eighth and the one in the ninth for their fourth win in their last five tries over the Crimson Tide at home.

The Trojans (15-12) will now turn their attention back to Sun Belt Conference play as Georgia Southern pays a visit to Riddle-Pace Field this weekend for a three-game series. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, 3 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Troy Alumni Association members can purchase $5 general admission tickets to all three games this weekend by showing their membership card at the Riddle-Pace Field Ticket Office.
