Trojans End Regular Season With 6-1 Win Over West Alabama

TROY, Alabama – On the final outing of the regular season, Troy cruised to a 6-1 win over West Alabama on Saturday afternoon to go into postseason play with a 13-10 record.
Mustapha Belcora, Pablo Moreno, Andre Baldo and Hassan Ndayishimiye were honored on senior day as the Trojans took the doubles point and won five of six singles matches on the day.
Each senior played on the afternoon with Moreno being the lone Trojan defeated in a three-set loss. Every other singles player needed just two sets to win with the exception being Jiaqi Duan's 6-4, 3-6, 10-4 win over Anton Lof.
In doubles action, Moreno and Belcora combined for a 6-3 win while Andy Lau and Fillip Mansson took home a 6-2 win to clinch the doubles point.
NOTEWORTHY
• Amer Bedwan, a freshman, finished the regular season with Troy's best record at 21-9.
• Nine different players registered double-digit singles victories in the fall and spring combined.
