Troy Aims For Sixth-Straight Win

TROY, Alabama – After winning for the fifth-time in a row, Troy will remain home on Wednesday to face Emory at the Lunsford Tennis Complex at 2 p.m.

It has been a dominant couple of weeks for the Trojans (7-6) after Troy rallied from a 2-6 start to the season to get back above .500 on the year. In the five-match winning streak, Troy has had two shutouts and two 4-3 wins.

Most recently, Troy won in 7-0 dominating fashion over USC Upstate on Monday. The Trojans won all six singles matches and two of three doubles matches with the other match being unfinished.

Emory is at the top of Division-III tennis after the Eagles claimed the ITA National Indoor Title on Feb. 26. It marked the seventh ITA Indoor title in just 17 seasons.

NOTEWORTHY
• Amer Bedwan is a perfect 10-0 to begin match play in his freshman season.

• Troy will then proceed to travel to the South Florida Invitational this weekend.
