Box Score
TROY, Alabama – Troy men's tennis continued a dominant past two weeks by winning for the fifth-straight match 7-0 over USC Upstate on Monday afternoon at the Lunsford Tennis Complex.
There was hardly a flaw to be found as Troy swept all six singles matches and won two of three doubles matches with the third being unfinished to move above .500 at 7-6 on the season.
Despite what seemed like a dominant victory, only two singles players were able to win in two sets. Those two were Pablo Moreno, who won 6-0, 6-4 over Fernando Bernardes, and Amer Bedwan, who won 6-1 in straight sets over Francisco Neto.
The doubles matches were an easier go for the Trojans. Mustapha Belcora and Moreno cruised to a 6-1 win while Andy Lau and Bedwan teamed together for a 6-2 victory.
NOTEWORTHY
• The Trojans have now climbed above .500 after starting the season at 2-6.
• Amer Bedwan has yet to lose a singles dual match as the freshman moved to 10-0 to start the season.
