Troy in the Mix at the Tiger Invitational; Play Halted in Second Round

OPELIKA, Alabama – The Troy men's golf team currently sits in a tie for eighth place after play was halted due to darkness during the second round of the Tiger Invitational at the Grand National Lake Course on Sunday. The Trojans are just four shots back of fourth and seven back of second.

Teams will finish the second round beginning with a shotgun start at 7:45 a.m. Monday and then will play the third round beginning at approximately 11:30 a.m.

Troy was in 11^th place following a 3-over 291 in the opening round, but began its climb up the leaderboard with a solid start to round two. The Trojans are currently 2-under on their second trip through the course with a combined 27 holes to play.

Cam Norman is currently tied for seventh place at 3-under to lead the Trojans, while Calum Masters (E) is tied for 25^th (E), Luke Moser (+1) is tied for 31^st, Jared Bettcher (+3) is tied for 48^th and Clayton Vannoy (+5) is tied for 74^th.
