Troy Men's Tennis Travels To Tuscaloosa To Face Alabama

Tuscaloosa, Alabama – Troy men's tennis will be back in action looking to get above .500 with a match against Alabama in Tuscaloosa on Sunday at 6 p.m.

The interstate showdown will be an opportunity for the Trojans (8-8) to get back to winning ways after dropping the last two matches. Prior to dropping the past two, Troy was on a six-match winning streak after starting the season 2-6.

It has been a dominant freshman season for Amer Bedwan, who is 18-7 on the season and 10-2 in dual match play. Bedwan has gone 7-2 playing in his primary five position and has picked up nine doubles wins.

Alabama (6-11) got off to a 5-2 start to the season but has since gone 1-9 in the past 10 matches. The Crimson Tide played on Friday and fell 4-0 in a conference match with Texas A&M.
