TROY, Alabama – Troy men's tennis fell for the second time in as many matches with a 4-1 defeat to Southern Illinois-Carbondale on Tuesday in Troy, Ala.

The lone bright spot on the day was a 6-0, 7-5 singles win by Jiaqi Duan. The Trojans (8-8) fell to .500 by losing three other singles matches and not finishing two.

Pablo Moreno and Andy Lau picked up a 6-2 in doubles play, but the doubles point was eventually lost by Troy dropping the other two matches.

NOTEWORTHY
• Amer Bedwan, who lost the past two after starting his career 10-0, was one of two who did not have a finished match.
