CORAL GABLES, Florida – The second match of the Trojans trip to Florida ended in defeat as Troy was ousted 6-1 by Miami on Saturday afternoon.

The Trojans (2-5) won just one set on the weekend as Amer Bedwan continued his stellar freshman season by notching a singles victory for Troy.

Bedwan remained undefeated in dual season with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-1 win over Dane Dunlap. Andy Lau was defeated 6-3, 6-4 by the No. 88 singles player Piotr Lomacki.

NOTEWORTHY
• Bedwan improved his record to 13-5 on the season and a perfect 5-0 in match play in his freshman season.

• All but two singles matches went to three sets.
